Tried this place after a coworker suggested it after I told him I love spicy food. This is the second Friday I went since. We try something new every time but so far staples that we get every time is the butter chicken extra spicy, chicken 65 extra spicy, chilly chicken, and the garlic naan as well as the KACHUMBER salad and raita such a nice cool down after a spicy bite.I love the vegetable samosas. If eating in I suggest assorted platter and the shrimp pakora, it's crispy goodness just doesn't travel on our long drive as good as eating right when it's made, I just eat it on the way home, no fault of the restaurant. The aroma of the restaurant is enough to make you hungry after just eating. This restaurant will definitely be in rotation for us even with the 30 minute drive each way definitely worth it. Everything is fresh and homemade, I feel like you don't get that anywhere anymore. All of the employees seem very nice and friendly and happy to be there, I feel like you don't see that too often anymore either. Edited to add it's a happily addition to our rotation of restaurants I crave their food now. We always get staples but always try a few new things as well.

We went to Taste of Punjab without knowing that it sells halal meat, and to our surprise, the guy tells us that they source their zabihah halal meat from Saad, Detroit, so we were very happy. Then we wanted to get regular milk chai, so the guy went inside and called Chef Sonia out so we can explain to her what kind of tea we want. She came out, she understood, and she delivered. Besides that, we ate Andhra Chicken and Chicken Pasanda, and they were delicious. Please give it a try. Andhra Chicken is for a bit complicated palate, but Chicken Pasanda, we believe everyone would like it. And to top it off, we ordered Kheer, Alu Paratha, and Kachumbar Salad and all of it was amazing. Thank you so much, Chef Sonia. You're the best.

So delighted by this restaurant!! The food had authentic taste! We ate A LOT, but nothing was super rich and heavy. It was all so fresh, delicious, and soooo comforting! Miss Sonia is the manager and chef and she has magic in her hands!!! Our server was very polite and helpful too. He confirmed for us that they get their meat from Saad Wholesale in Detroit every monday, so it was all halal. The space was super cute and quaint. Oh the chai is AMAZING and the kheer is 🤌🏼🤌🏼! Absolutely would recommend coming here :)

Not only the best I've ever had at a restaurant, but consistently cooked to perfection.

I drive all the way from Tawas. I even order extra to go for the next day.
